Vice-Chairman's Message

MAI - Mrs. Preeti Pal Vice-Chairman

Nurses are widely regarded as the most trusted healthcare professionals. They accompany patients throughout every stage of life, serving as teachers, advocates, caregivers, critical thinkers, and innovators.

Nursing is more than just a job; it’s a calling. As a professional nurse, it is imperative that your patients can trust you. This means staying updated with the best practices and treating patients and colleagues with dignity, kindness, respect, and compassion.

The scope of nursing encompasses a broad range of roles, functions, responsibilities, and activities that a registered nurse is educated, competent, and authorized to perform. Nursing practice includes advocating for the rights of individual patients and their families.

At our institute, we are committed to preparing nursing and paramedical students to provide competent and comprehensive care in both hospital and community settings. Our students are trained to demonstrate extraordinary skills and attitudes in caring for individuals at all levels of prevention and across the continuum of health.

MAI is emerging as a major contributor to the healthcare delivery system in the Kumaun region through its dedication to quality professional nursing education, service, and research.
